About The Dojang

Sumter Tae Kwon Do opened its doors in October of 2003. At the time, Sumter TKD had zero students, but thanks to the Sumter and Shaw AFB communities interest in learning Tae Kwon Do, we are now well rooted in the community. These roots have been growing for the last six years as witnessed by the achievements of the students.

Our students have won numerous medals, trophies, and grand championships at the SC State Championship, SC Governors Cup Championship, West Wateree TKD Championship, American Open TKD Championship in Marietta, GA, and at the Junior Olympics, and Sr. Nationals in Detroit, MI. & Orlanda, Fl.
